Leadership in Every Arena

Classical education is sometimes called “leadership education” because it builds skills needed for leadership: logic, debate, public speaking, class reasoning, researching, writing, and communicating.

These skills are practiced in every subject which prepares students to become leaders in any field they pursue. ACA offers opportunities for students across a wide number of disciplines including:

Academic Competitions: chess club, spelling bees, reading bees, composition contests, and Odyssey of the Mind, a creative problem-solving competition for students of all ages

Arts: choir, band, strings, music ed, and theatre

Sports: cross country, track and field, and basketball
